Shudokan Ryu Taiho Jutsu
(Japanese: Taiho Jutsu / English: Control and Restraint)
In an effort to get officers in the proper mindset for survival we are continuing to train departmentally approved tactics. The more you train, the more muscle memory takes over. The more muscle memory you have, the less lag time occurs in a particular situation, the better your chances of a positive outcome in a physical altercation.
In 1947, the Japanese Police started training in Taiho Jutsu. It is a mixture of several martial art systems. Although most U.S. Police agencies train in these control techniques they vary from department to department.
Our goal is to train using realism, while maintaining a safe training environment. We are building a solid base of Defensive Tactics Techniques.
This system is open to Law Enforcement and Active Military only. We are currently testing twice a year.
We are getting COPS off the couch and back in the dojo! Come join the leaders of training!
